Conflict is inevitable. It is how we deal with it that matters. How we manage conflict can have long lasting implications on individuals, organisations, and those around us. It can have both positive and negative impacts, depending on how it is handled.

Participants will explore a conflict they have recently dealt with, or are currently dealing with, and start to apply the concepts discussed in a practical way.

The learning outcomes from attending this program will include the ability to:

• Recognise the constructive behaviours and actions of an effective conflict manager
• Identify strategies for managing their own and emotions of others during conflict
• Understand different perspectives in conflict
• Demonstrate active listening skills
• Map a conflict to seek win/win outcomes
