ptt - Cultivating High Performance Teams

This workshop helps participants identify the characteristics of a high performance team. It covers the stages they are expected to move through on their way to high performance, as well as strategies for identifying where their team is and what to do next for the team to progress.

Participants learn to identify the various types of roles different employees play within a team and how they impact on overall performance. They will be able to apply a number of tools to promoting team performance, as well as develop action plans for each team member, that reflect the role they can play in promoting better performance for both themselves and their team.

The learning outcomes from attending this program will include the ability to:

• Identify and understand the different types of teams
• Identify the key aspects of high/low performing teams and how to build team performance
• Gain insight into the stages of team development & how to contribute to them
• Develop an understanding of roles that are essential to high performing teams using the Belbin model
• Identify individual roles within your teams
• Use strategies to best work with ‘other’ roles
• Reflect on the workshop and develop an action plan for building a high performance team
