- Aerial linework preparation and practices
- Enterprise specific professional development understanding and promotion
- Use of personal protection equipment (PPE)
- Understanding and interpretation of WHS/OHS records such as inspection reports, training and instruction records, manufacturer and supplier information, material safety data sheets and maintenance reports
- Key environmental standards, codes and legislation.
Practical assessments assess your ability to demonstrate performance criteria such as:
- Applying relevant workplace health and safety/occupational health and safety requirements
- Using sustainable energy principles and practices
- Identifying potential environmental hazards and applying legislation and codes of practice to your work plan to minimise risks
- Following incident report procedures
- Handling an unexpected event and coming up with compliant solutions to the scenario
- Sourcing up-to-date information on enterprise policies and procedures and keeping your knowledge current and relevant.
Assessment are conducted within realistic, workplace settings and are held over the duration of the unit.
